PURPOSE:To obtain a switch box of tap changer which is easy to oppse for increase of a coarse tap wiring and also is few a contact abrasion by a methods wherein the coarse tape wiring, a thick tape wiring, changeover switch and supplementary changeover switch are connected as prescribed and then a moving contact of a switch is made roller-type. CONSTITUTION:A coarse tape wiring 54, 58 is connected in series to a main wiring 51 and, contact point and a terminal 60 are connected to fixed contact 11- 13 and 15-16 of a changeover switch 70 and a supplementary switch 71. Contacting with the roller- type contact A and B, the changeover switch 70 and the supplementary changeover switch 71 are connected to the thick tap wiring 62 and a supplementary tap K respectively. When the operational voltage is decreased by the supplementary tap K, the contact A of the changeover switch 70 is moved to the contact 12 while the contact 64a is moved from tap 101 to 109. Thereafter a contact 64b is switched to 64a and is operated by the tap 109. The contact B of the supplementary switch 71 is moved to a contact 16 while the contact 64b is parted from the tap K and is moved to the tap 108. Subsequently, the contact 64a is switched to 64b and is operated by the tap 108. The increase of voltage is due to reverse operation. The increase of the coarse tap wiring is able to oppose to only increase of the fixed contact of the switch 70, 71.
