PURPOSE:To enable a color print to be freely magnified or contracted, by overlaying each of 4 color-separated films for printing on a black color-separated film laid on a color film, setting a complementary color filter, exposing the color film through them, repeating this operation with respect to each color-separated film except the black film to obtain one negative color film. CONSTITUTION:A color film enlarger is set to a color filter index corresponding to color correction fit to the emulsion of the color film. The color film is set on the stand of the enlarger and a pin bar is set. The black color-separated film is set to the pin bar and laid on the color film. A yellow-separated film is laid the black film, a glass plate is placed to press them, and a filter of a blue color complementary to the yellow is set in front of a lens. The color film is exposed to light of optional intensity and thereafter only the yellow film is removed to repeat further the same operation for remaining magenta color-separated films and cyan color-separated films. The exposed color negative film is color developed and enlarged with the enlarger. As a result, each color-separated film is transferred to obtain one color negative film, and this film can be optionally contracted or magnified.
