发明名称 PREPARATION OF NATURAL BLUE PIGMENT FOR FOODS
摘要 PURPOSE:A raw material of plant containing natural pigments is subjected to hot oil treatment with heat under a certain level of reduced pressure, then the oil is removed to give a powder of natural pigments. CONSTITUTION:A raw material of plant, such s green peas, grapes, black soybeans or roots of gromwell (Lithospermum erythrorhizon) or a substance containing blue pigments such as anthocyanin, alkannin or orcinol is dipped in heated animal or vegetable oil. The temperature of the oil is kept at 80-150 deg.C under reduced pressure of 10-20mm.Hg to effect dehydration. The raw material is taken out of the oil and squeezed to collect oil and extracted with n-hexane to give the pigments in the plant. Further, vitamins or other nutrients are simultaneously extracted from the plant.
