PURPOSE:To prevent a distributor housing from sticking to an engine body by taking a fitting gap on the distributing part side of an O-ring position larger than a fitting gap on the driving part side of said O-ring position at the fitting part of a distributor housing to an internal-combustion engine body. CONSTITUTION:At the fitting part 10 of a distributor 1 to an engine body 3, the diameter of a distributor housing 1 on the distributing part 6 side of an O-ring 5 position is different from the diameter on the driving part 6 side of the O-ring 5 position, with the diameter on the distributing part 6 side being made smaller. And, a gap between the housing 1 and the engine body 3 at the fitting part 11 on the distributor 6 side of the O-ring 5 position, is taken larger than the amplitude of vibration of the housing 1 caused by the vibration of the engine, to prevent friction by contact between the distributor housing 1 and the engine body 3. Accordingly, the generation of fretting corrosion at the fitting part of the distributor to the engine body, or the sticking of the distributor housing 1 to the engine body 3 can be prevented. |
