PURPOSE:To prevent the extinguishment of a plasma flame, by providing a chamber to a specimen introducing passage and mounting a plurality of atomizers to either one of the chamber and the holder integrally provided to said chamber. CONSTITUTION:A chamber 1 is provided to the specimen introducing passage for supplying a gasified specimen to a torch pipe 2 for generating a high frequency induction plasma flame 17 and a cylindrical holder 3 is integrally provided to the end part of the chamber 1. Further, an atomizer 4 for sucking the specimen 12 in a specimen container 11 to spray the same to the almost central part of the holder 3 and an atomizer 5 for sucking the distilled water 21 in a chamber 20 to spray the same into the holder 3 are provided. The container 20 is brought to a slightly larger volume with due regard to the number of measuring times and distilled water 21 always atomized is allowed to reach the plasma flame 17. By this method, the extinguishment of the plasma flame 17 is prevented and measurement can be succeeded. |
