PURPOSE:To carry out accurate control of ignition timing even during the cranking of an engine by providing a second ignition timing controlling means which outputs an electric control signal having fixed ignition lead angle information based on a crank angle signal, to an ignition device while cranking. CONSTITUTION:A first ignition timing controlling means outputs an electric control signal having ignition lead angle information which is variable in accordance with the operating condition of an engine, to an ignition device. A second ignition timing control means outputs an electric control signal having a fixed ignition lead angle information based on a crank angle signal, to the ignition device prior to the first ignition timing controlling means, receiving signals from a cranking sensor 26 and a crank angle sensor 27, at the time of cranking. And, an accurate control of ignition timing can be carried out by means of the first ignition timing controlling means except cranking time and by means of the second ignition timing controlling means at the time of cranking. |
