PURPOSE:To stabilize burning state for a fluidized bed boiler, by controlling the distribution of air amt. to be fed into each part of the bottom of a furnace according to the degree of heel of the vessel, by providing a self-weight controlling damper which works by the weight of itself, to the inlet port for feeding the combustion air into the fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION:Dampers 23, 26, and 27 are installed at each position, after setting the damper fitting angle at the time of closing and opening respectively, in such a manner that they can be actuated to open or close as a whole by its tare, so as to be able to control the flow rate of air wherein large quantity of air is fed into the side where a fixed layer of deposit 19 tends to be formed naturally, and the flow rate of air is throttled to the side where thin bed is formed. For instance, dampers 23, 26, and 27 on the left side are constituted so as to be opened when the angle of heel of a vessel to the left side comes to be 20 deg., 10 deg., and -10 deg., respectively from above, enabling to control the flow rate of combustion air properly, by the degree of opening of dampers 23, 26, and 27, corresponding to the heel of a vessel. With such an arrangement, fluidization can be taken place nearly unformly through almost all part of a fluidized bed 11, and formation of a fixes layer of the deposit 19 produced by the heel can be eliminated automatically. |
