PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a magnetic core by providing plural auxiliary holes including a winding hole to a head chip in a manner as to penetrate a substrate and magnetic core and grounding the magnetic core by means of a conductor sticking to the side face of the holes except the holes adjacent to said holes. CONSTITUTION:The head chip 10 is formed with the winding groove 18a and one - plural pieces of the auxiliary grooves 19a to one core half 16 and thereafter the gap surfaces 21 of a pair of core halves 16, 17 are polished. A non-magnetic material film having a prescribed thickness is formed as a gap spacer. The core halves 16, 17 are thereafter butted to each other and a low-melting glass rod is placed in the groove 18a and is heated to join both core halves 16, 17. The groove 18a and the grooves 19a are respectively the winding hole 18 and the auxiliary holes 19 in the state in which the core halves are integrally joined as the chip 10. |
