PURPOSE:To suppress a delay time of a ready signal restoration as less as possible by changing the ready signal depending on the opened and closed clamp mechanism so as to prevent the generation of a write/read error due to mis- operation. CONSTITUTION:If a knob or a door is opened when a device selection signal DS is at an L level, the ready signal LD outputted from a NAND gate 22 with a delay of a time constant Ta of a monostable circuit 17 changes to an H level representing disabled write/read. When the knob or the door is closed in such a state, the signal LD changes to an L level representing the write/read preparation end with a delay of time Tb corresponding to four pulses of an index signal IND. Thus, if the knob or the door is opened in error during write/read of the information to a floppy disc, the signal LD changes immediately to an H level and write/read is stopped. |
