PURPOSE:To prevent the fluctuation in the weight of moldings owing to the temp. change of a rotary type powder compression molding machine and to produce the moldings having always the specified weight by detecting the temp. rise owing to the generation of the heat in the machine and adjusting the height of a weight rail to be imposed with a lower pestle according to the detected temp. rise in the stage of producing the molding by said machine. CONSTITUTION:The powder raw material in a hopper 14 is put into the mortar hole 5 of a rotary plate 1 in the position (a) and is compressed by an upper pestle 8 and the lower pestle 9 in the position (b) when said pestle are actuated by upper and lower rolls 19, 20. The powder is extruded by the pestle 9 in the position (c) and is discharged from the hole 6 in the form of a tablet 24 into a chute 16. The compressing force increases when the pestle 8, the pestle 9 and the upper and lower compressing rolls 19, 20 expand as a result of the heat generated by the continuous driving of such device. The weight rail 12 for the pestle 9 is then moved upward by the malfunction of a load cell 27 by which the inside volume of the hole 5 is decreased and the weight of the tablet 24 is reduced. The temp. change is measured by a temp. sensor 21 in such a case. A motor 26 is driven by the current thereof to adjust the position of the rail 12 and to adjust adequately the volume of the hole 5. Always the specified weight of the powder raw material is thus supplied into the mortar hole. |
