<p>PURPOSE:To diminish the cost in denitrating method of waste gas, by loading a catalyst to a rotary regeneration type air preheater to perform the denitration and together using the high-temp. air generated therein as the regeneration fluid of the catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas discharged from a combustion installation 6 is injected with NH3 7 and entered to a rotary regeneration type air prehater 5 and denitrated with the denitration catalyst 2 loaded to the high-temp. side of the rotor and together lowered in temp. by heat exchange and discharged from a stack 13 via the following dust collector 9 and blower 10 or the like. The air sent from a blower 14 is fed to the air preheater and subjected to heat recovery on the heat transfer surface 8 of the low-temp. side and fed to the combustion installation as the combustion air after regenerating the denitration catalyst. On one hand, in the air preheater, the flow path side of waste gas and the flow path side of air are rotated and the denitration and regeneration of the catalyst are alternately repeated.</p> |
