PURPOSE:To obtain a charge conveying chain having a light weight and excellent flexibility by extending a tube to a columnar support, and engaging the end of the tube of adjacent insulating materials with the recess of the support, and securing with a coupler. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 2 of a charge conveying chain is composed of a cylindrical metal 8 and an insulating member 7, and the member 7 is formed of a columnar support 3 having a length shorter than the metal 8 and a tube 4 coaxially integrally extended in a tubular shape having an outer diameter smaller than that of the support 3 on one end of the support 3. A recess 5 is coaxially formed with the other end of the support 3, the end of the tube 4 is engaged, an axial hole 6 is passed through the shaft equivalent part of the member 7, and a core 1 is passed. Further, a filling hole 9 is passed from the outer surface of the metal 8 to the hole 6. Thus, at assembling and coupling time, the core 1 is passed through the hole 6 of the pellet 2, and the end of the tube 4 is sequentially engaged with the recess 5 of the support 3. A coupler 11 is filled in the air gap 10 from the hole 9 in this state, filled and solidified and integrally coupled. |
