PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the optical magnification change for each wavelength of the laser beam in an optical pickup and an optical disk drive incorporated with a laser beam source that can output two kinds of wavelengths for the laser beam. SOLUTION: The optical pickup is composed of an optical system that can change the optical magnification for each laser beam different in wavelength, so that it can record or reproduce information on the different kinds of disk recording media by using different wavelength laser beams. |
