PURPOSE:To detect the interference signal necessary for obtaining a exact IR spectrum by detecting interference light while moving a moving reflecting mirror by a prescribed distance distance thereby obtaining the interference light signal. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of movable reflecting mirrors 71, 72 and a stationary reflecting mirror 73 are provided alongside the moving reflecting mirror 14. The mirror 14 is moved by the prescribed distance at every three states; the state in which the mirror 71 is disposed on the optical path, the state in which the mirror 71 is removed from the optical path and the mirror 72 is disposed on the optical path and the state in which both mirrors 71 and 72 are removed from the optical path. The interference signals detected according to the movement of the moving reflecting mirror at every three states are synthesized and the Fourier transform is executed in accordance with the synthesized signal. The exact IR spectrum is thus obtd. even if the moving distance of the moving reflecting mirror is short. |
