<p>LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION Lubricating oil composition comprising a major proportion of a lubricating oil and minor proportions of a Group II metal dithiophosphate and an aminosuccinic acid or a derivative thereof with the formula: < IMG > in which R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 each represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl radical containing 1-30 carbon atoms, and in which R3 and/or R4 may also represent an acylderivative of said hydrocarbyl radical.
