SOLUTION: In this shift switching device for conducting switching of 2H-4H-N-4L, the first position detecting switch and the second position detecting switch operated independently from the first position detecting switch detect a position of a driving object displaced by the actuator in an area switched from an engagement area of the 4H to an engagement area of the N. Switching patterns as detection patterns are different each other in the first position detecting switch and the second position detecting switch. Which position detecting switch is troubled is determined accurately thereby when one of the first and second position detecting switches is troubled, since the pattern of the first position detecting switch is different from the pattern of the second position detecting switch. |
