PURPOSE:To improve the workability of the burner by providing a fire-extinguishing button which releases the engaging state at the fire-extinguishing time to automatically lower the wick body to a fire-extinguishing position by an actuating force of a spring. CONSTITUTION:A latch shaft 42 moves frontwardly together with a movable body 48 by the rotation of a lever 60, and a guide pin 50 rotates a rotary arm 53 counterclockwisely. A wick lifting and lowering shaft 14 rotates toward a direction in which a wick body 6 is raised through a crank body 12. Further, the latch shaft 42 moves while compressing a spring on one hand, an engaging claw 16 of a latch 45 on the other end is engaged with an engaging shaft 59 of an operating plate 57, thus the wick body 6 completing the rise up to the combustion position. Further, when a button 73 is pressed downward, a fire-extinguishing lever 72 moves upward the other end of the operating plate 57 of reversely rotating the wick lifting and lowering shaft 14. Therefore, it is possible to rapidly lower the wick body 6 and to extinguish the fire. |
