PURPOSE:To protect the engine transmission system from damage due to resonance by performing incremental control of rotation upon dropping of the engine rotation below the control range while performing forced stoppage control when incremental rotation is not detected. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic pulse sensor is provided with correspondence to the rotation detecting gear to be mounted on the output shaft of engine. Upon droppage of engine rotation below setting control range, incremental rotation control is performed forcefully prior to the thermal load control. If no incremental rotation is detected through said incremental rotation control, forced stoppage control is performed. Consequently, the transmission system can be protected from damage due to resonance. |
