PURPOSE:To prevent water from being adhered to a hood lock device, by a method wherein a gap between a radiator grill or its slit and a hood is blocked up at a given area, and a partition member for preventing splash is mounted below the hood lock device. CONSTITUTION:A gap (b) between a slit 5 of a radiator grill 3 or the grill 3 and a hood 1 is blocked at an area at which a total surface H of a hood lock device 7 is concealed. Namely, a block-up part 23 on the grill 3 side is closed by forming a part, covering the area, into a blind part during molding of the grill 3. The portion, ranging between the grill 3 and the hood side, of the block-up part 23 is blocked up in a way that a waterproof material 25 made of rubber, hung down like a curtain, is supported to an inner panel 1a of the hood 1. A partition member 27 for preventing splash, extended from the lower end of the grill 3, is disposed below the hood lock device 7. This causes air to be taken in through each slit 5, and enables rain water, flowing from the front, to be prevented from enterance with the aid of the block-up part 23 and the partition member 27. |
