PURPOSE:To confirm easily a fault processing function and to attain the regeneration of said function by setting a false fault mode according to a program instruction, then setting a timer register to produce a machine error at a set time point. CONSTITUTION:A machine error report signal 27 is outputted from a machine error generation control circuit 4 when a timer register 5 has an underflow after a control register 3 that controls the generation of machine errors is set with a program instruction. The contents of the register 5 are counted down by a counter circuit 7. Then underflow is detected by a timer register all-zero detecting circuit 6 when a fixed machine cycle elapses. The circuit 4 outputs the signal 27 to supply a report to a fault processor 9. Then the presceibed fault processing is executed. |
