The invention relates to a blind fastening device. This device comprises a member 4 for fastening an element 1 to a wall 2 by insertion of the member 4 into an orifice 6 made in the wall 2 and by locking the said member in the said orifice, and is characterised in that the fastening member 4 is made in two complementary half-parts 4a, 4b provided with a common rotational axis 8 in the plane or parallel to the parting plane of the two half-parts 4a, 4b, each half-part 4a, 4b comprising at the insertion end or head 10a, 10b a shoulder 12a, 12b respectively, projecting laterally, arranged so that in the complementary position of the said two half-parts, the said shoulders 12a, 12b are arranged on either side of the said member 4, thus allowing the said two half-parts 4a, 4b to be inserted via their shoulders 12a, 12b into the orifice of the wall and, by a single pivoting of the two half-parts towards one another, the said member 4 to be locked to the wall via the projections formed by each shoulder 12a, 12b on either side of the said member 4.
