PURPOSE:To provide top blocks having their respective stay bases which may be vertically lined up, by a method wherein a stay, formed in a pantagon in cross section, is projectedly formed closer to the one oblique side of the back of a block body having a front formed in a pentagon. CONSTITUTION:A stay 2, having a shape in cross section about similar to the reduced shape of the front of a block body 1, is projectedly formed closer to the oblique side of the back of a top block body 1 having a front formed in a pentagon, and an oblique part 2' of the stay 2 is expanded downward to form a stay base 3. When the top blocks A are aligned at the uppermost stage of a retaining wall, the stay bases 3 of the top blocks A and the stay bases of the ordinary blocks at a lower stage adjacent to the uppermost stage are vertically lined up to form a self-support stable structure, resulting in the possibility to increase strength of the top part. |
