PURPOSE:To remove effectively dust stuck to a storage type phosphor sheet by not only absorbing the dust liberated from the surface of the sheet together with air but also moving the sheet after air is blown to the surface of the sheet to liberate the dust from the surface of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A storage type phosphor sheet 20 is fed on a guide plate 1 by feeding rolls 2 and 3; and when its surface 20a passes near a cleaning head 6, the fine dust stuck to the surface 20a of the sheet 20 is liberated from the surface 20a because air discharged from a discharge exit 11 of a blower 10 is discharged downward, namely, toward the sheet 20 from an air blast hole 7 of the cleaning head 6. Air near the air blast hole 7 is sucked from an air suction hole 8 by the blower 10, and therefore, the dust liberated from the surface of the sheet 20 is sucked to the air suction hole 8 together with air and is acquired by a filter 12. |
