PURPOSE:To level automatically a copying machine in accordance with the state of a floor to which the copying machine should be fixed, by sticking each leg of the copying machine to the machine body through an oil damper and connecting cylinders of individual oil dampers with pipes. CONSTITUTION:If three casters out of four casters 2 of the copying machine are brought into contact with the floor surface but the other caster is not brought into contact with the floor surface, the former casters rises because the load of the copying machine is applied to them, and pistons 6 connected to these casters are pushed up to raise the pressure of oil 8 in corresponding oil dampers 4. However, the latter caster 2 is pushed down by this oil pressure because four oil dampers 4 are connected by pipes 3, and this caster 2 is brought into contact with the floor surface, and this action is continued until the oil pressure in four oil dampers 4 is balanced, thus leveling the copying machine. |
