<p>PURPOSE:To drive a tape reader with a comparatively small force by providing a series of guides having a gap along the moving locus of the tape reader. CONSTITUTION:A couple of guides 31a, 31b forming a gap 30 in parallel with a slot are fixed to a chassis 2 in a cylinder opposite to a slot 8 formed to the chassis 1 in pairs. A torque transmission means 32 is arranged in the gap 30, one end of a torque transmission means 32 is connected to the tape reader 3 and the other end is connected to a winding body 13. When the tape reader 3 moves from a lower position A to an upper position B, since the slot 8 deciding the moving locus of the tape reader 3 and the gap 30 regulating the position of the transmission means 32 are in parallel, a joint plate 34 and a reader main body 33 are moved while keeping nearly the same relation at all times. Thus, a force required to drive the tape reader 3 is always nearly constant and the drive mechanism is miniaturized in matching therewith.</p> |
