POLYETHER KETONE RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:The titled composition providing a reinforced molded article having improved mechanical properties and sliding properties, obtained by blending a polyether ketone with potassium titanate fibers and a fluorine resin. CONSTITUTION:30-95wt% polyether ketone is blended with 5-60wt% potassium titanate fibers and 1-30wt% fluorine resin. The polyether ketone used has 0.3- 2.6, preferably 0.5-1.8 intrinsic viscosity. Potassium titanate fibers having 20- 30mum average fiber length and 0.1-0.3mum average fiber diameter are preferable as the potassium titanate fibers. Tetrafluoroethylene resin having <20mu average particle diameter is preferable as the fluorine resin.
