<p>This device comprises a base 12 which is fixed (for example by means of a magnet) onto the roof, bonnet, wing, etc. of the vehicle, a light source 16 and a transparent light diffuser in the shape of an inverted cup 14. A removable opaque screen 26 may be fitted onto the light diffuser and comprises a stationary shutter 30 and a movable shutter 38 which allows a desired angular portion to be blocked in order to project the light in a desired direction without dazzling the user. By removing the screen 26 and by setting the switch 18 in the alternative lighting position, it is possible to use the device as a flashing distress lamp. <IMAGE></p> |
