摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a titled magnetic head having high satd. magnetic flux density, high specific permeability and low coercive force by forming them main pole of said head of the laminated structure consisting of the layers of a high permeability material and the layers of a magnetic material such as metallic oxide, ferrite or amorphous alloy. CONSTITUTION:The material having the high magnetic flux density and low coercive force is used for the high permeability magnetic material 12 and the highly wear-resistant magnetic material such as metallic oxide, ferrite or amorphous alloy is used for the other material 13. Said materials are laminated into multiple layers to constitute the main magnetic pole 11. Then the generation of the magnetic domain which does not parallel with the film plane is prevented by the laminated structure, by which the use of the high permeability magnetic material having the small coercive force is made possible and the decrease in the effective magnetic permeability occurring in the eddy current loss is prevented. The generation of the recording magnetic field which rises sharply is thus made possible even with a recording medium having high coercive force, by which the improvement in the reproducing efficiency thereof is made possible. The easy compensation of the wear resistant characteristic of the main pole 11 is made possible by using the thin film of the material having good wear resistance for the material 13. The recording and reproducing characteristic of the magnetic head is thus improved.
