摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the discrimination precision of frame positions by discriminating an AND change position as a frame edge if the interval of change position in the film feeding direction between OR and AND of variable density binary signals of individual points which are detected with plural sensors orthogonal to the film feeding direction is equal to or smaller than a certain value. CONSTITUTION:Plural spot detecting parts 54 are arranged in the direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of a film 12 and are bundled into a rectangular shape to constitute a detecting part 52 of an optical sensor. Detecting parts 54 in the leftmost row are used as edge detecting parts 54A, and the light led to optical fibers 56 is received by photodetectors 58A, and a signal is outputted from the photodetector 58A and is inputted to an input interface only when the quantity of received light is equal to or smaller than a certain value. Signals from photodetectors 58B and 58C are switched to be given to spot detecting parts 54 by a multiplexer and are converted to digital signals by an A/D converter and are supplied to the input interface. The change position of AND is discriminated as a frame edge when the interval of change position in the feeding direction between OR and AND of variable density binary signals of individual points is equal to or smaller than a certain value, thereby discriminating the frame position only with one frame edge to improve the frame position discrimination precision.
