PURPOSE:To prevent an error in the amount of change and reduce the load on an operator by adding functions for issuing and reading a change card, such as a magnetic card, to a cash register, and providing a change discharging mechine. CONSTITUTION:When transaction processing by the cash register (ECR)1-1 makes change, a change ticket issuing machine 4-1 issues a change ticket or card 5 on which the amount of the change is stored. A customer inserts this change ticket into the change discharging machine 2 and receives the change as much as the amount stored on the change ticket. The ticket is read by a change ticket reader connected to an ECR and used as well as the cash equal to the amount of the cash. Further, the change discharging machine 2 reads the amount stored on the change ticket which is inserted to display to amount of the change and also discharge the money corresponding to the change. |
