A process and equipment for the preparation of fuel for fluidised-bed combustion installations with a pressurised fluidised bed. According to the invention, comminuted coal and, if desired, an absorbent are continuously supplied, with measurement of their moisture content and their mass flow, and then fed together with water to a mixer, the moisture content and the flow rate of the coal fed and of the absorbent fed determining the supplementing water rate fed in such a way that the moisture content, effecting the formation of a coal paste, in the mixture of coal, absorbent and water is sufficient to achieve the best possible pumpability of the coal paste. The invention allows an environmental sound handling of the fuel and reduces the risk of fires due to inadvertent ignition of coal dust. Moreover, a more uniform combustion of the fuel in the combustion installation is achieved. <IMAGE> |
