FRP laminates are produced from a number of exothermic hot-curing prepreg layers which are partly cured first, laid together to build up the required thickness, and finally cured. They are first brought to between 5 and 40% cured state (according to the level selected for the material), they are then laid up together and raised to a temp., which is below the level at which the uncured system starts to react but where the partly cured material does react, and the system is fully cured out.
