<p>PURPOSE:To realize much more miniaturization by shifting a magnetic tape contained in a cassette toward the inside of the cassette at the opening of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:In loading the cassette 3 to a cassette holder, a tape moving member 19 is brought into contact with a magnetic tape 4 spread in front of the opening of the cassette 3 on the way of cassette loading and the magnetic tape 4 is moved to the inside of the opening of the cassette 3. Then the cassette holder holding the cassette 3 is descended and the cassette 3 is loaded to the said chassis 1. Then a part of the rotary cylinder 2 is stored in the opening of the cassette 3 so as not to be brought into contact with the magnetic tape 4. As a result, the longitudinal length (l) of the chassis 1 becomes shorter than the length L in a conventional technology. Thus, the magnetic recording and reproducing device is miniaturized in comparison with that of conventional technology.</p> |
