<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a word inflection form automatically and rapidly by obtaining supplementary information by using a dictonary of small capacity containing standard words and a device which analyzes inflection patterns. CONSTITUTION:A vowel table 3 contains standardized words characteristic to respective languages and a syllable decomposing device 2 checks an input word. Then, an input character string is decomposed into the form of ''combination of vowel and consonant right before it''. An analytic rule storage table 5 contains data characteristic to the respective languages and an inflection pattern analyzing device 4 analyzes the output of the syllable decomposing device 2 while using the table 5. Then, an inflection form generating device 6 generates the inflection form of a word on the basis of the analytic result.</p> |
