Tool for boring metallic or other materials, consisting of two removable cutting plates 2, 3 fixed symmetrically in housings by screws on either side of the axis of a body 1a which is fixed or rotationally mobile and in which two longitudinal grooves are milled for evacuating chips, and of two guiding runners 8, 9 diametrically opposed and fixed by screws into grooves and characterised in that: a. the two cutting plates 2, 3 are of circular shape and arranged symmetrically relative to the axis of the aforementioned body 1a; and b. a system for circulating a cooling and lubricating liquid is provided inside the tool, inlet is achieved (at 15) in the upper portion 1 of the tool, and two outlets 17 exist, situated respectively in each of the lower portions of the portion 1a of the tool which receives the cutting plates 2, 3. <IMAGE>
