a. The present invention relates to an electric primer for electrical-type charges, charges such as cartridges and munitions equipped with the said primer, the method of manufacture, the firing devices and the weapons thus equipped. b. Electrical primer 1, characterised by a bush 2 equipped at its upper and lower bases with circular overhangs 3, 4 and with one or more channels 5, 6, the bush 2 being provided at its lower base with an electrical igniter 7 one of whose contact wires 8 is linked to the outer side part of the bush 2 and whose other contact wire 8 is arranged at the central part of the bush 2, possibly with the aid of a material 17, of a contact point or stud. c.
