PURPOSE:To keep a roller diameter in a highly accurate manner as well as to make paper conveyable at the specified speed, by applying material being large in a friction factor to a peripheral surface of a roller by means of thermal spraying, while forming such a frictional surface as being large in the friction factor and excellent in rigidity on the roller peripheral surface. CONSTITUTION:A driving roller 12 forms its frictional surface 12b by applying compound materials of ceramic and the like comprising chrome oxide, etc., being large in a friction factor to paper 14, to a peripheral surface of a roller blank excellent in rigidity by means of thermal spraying. The frictional surface 12b makes an acute-angular projection form whereby coherence with the paper 14 is excellent enough, equalized to the desired thickness and stickable with certainty, so that the paper 14 is conveyable at the specified speed all the time. |
