<p>PURPOSE:To make a fold formable at the central part of each paper, by making a pressing body, being made up of a surface member consisting of an elastic material and longer in size than that of the paper, touch and separate an edge-form projection of a fold forming lower mold. CONSTITUTION:Paper P out of a fixing part 34, passing through feed rollers 47 and 48, stops when its end comes into contact with a stopper 54 being set up so as to fit the size. Next, a pressing body 52, adjoining the upper part of a fold forming lower mold 50, goes down whereby the paper is pressed by a surface elastic member being longer in size than the paper width, forming a fold at the central part. Afterward, the stopper 54 retracts, so the paper is fed onto two guide plates 63 and 64 with rotation of a feed roller 55, subjected to width shifting by a roller 67 and piled up, and both these guide plates 63 and 64 are titled with each other in the reverse direction and thereby the fold is aligned along a paper receiving surface 60, while the paper P is bound with a binding device 58 coming donw, thus the paper is tacked inside a tray 68.</p> |
