PURPOSE:To obtain copy pictures of good quality by forming a toner supply path and providing a toner supply means, which feeds out a toner into a toner supply tank through the toner supply path in the direction of the outside peripheral surface of a developing sleeve, to prevent surely a magnetic carrier from being scattered in the toner supply tank during the operation of a device. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic carrier, for example, materials where ferromagnetic particles and binder magnetic particles are mixed preliminarily are loaded into an empty chamber 15, and the toner is loaded into a toner storage part 21 after the device is operated preparatorily. The toner is carried in the direction of an arrow (b) on the outside peripheral surface of a developing sleeve 10 in accordance with rotation of a magnetic roll 11 and the developing sleeve 10 and is mixed and agitated with the magnetic carrier when passing the empty chamber 15. A formed magnetic brush rubs the surface of a photosensitive drum 9 to develop an electrostatic latent image on this surface to a visible image. The magnetic developer which remains on the outside peripheral surface of the developing sleeve 10 after used for development reaches the exit side of a toner supply path 13, and the developer is used for development again after the toner is supplied to the developer by rotation of a toner supply blade 23. |
