PURPOSE:To automatically and smoothly supply an adhesive to a side to be supplied, by a method wherein a fine solid adhesive is preliminarily stored in a hopper and vibrated and discharged in accordance with the supply signal from the side to be supplied by a feeder while stirred by a stirring apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Melt chips are preliminarily charged and stored in a hopper 5 while the power source of the heating apparatus provided to the adhesive storage tank 2 of an adhering apparatus is closed and said chips are sufficiently melted to start the molding work of a corrugated cardboard box. When a level switch 30 detects that the adhesive in the storage tank 1 is reduced after work is repeated, the motor 13 of a stirring apparatus 6 is operated by a control apparatus 31 to stirr the chips in the hopper 5 and, at the same time, the vibrator 18 of a feeder 7 is operated to vibrate a vibration cylinder 17. The molten chips are smoothly discharged to the storage tank 1 by said stirring and vibration without being adhered to the inner wall of the hopper and formed into lumps liable to clog a discharge port 4.
