In a stand (1) of sterilisable material there are provided next to each other a socket (7) for a thread dispenser (8), a socket (9) for a reception vessel (10) for scissors and forceps, and a socket (11) for a sealable needle box (12). This results in a spatially concentrated, easy-to-handle accommodation of the suturing material and the relevant suturing utensils.
