PURPOSE:To use a toner of an ordinary two-component developer to develop images and to obtain an excellent development efficiency with simple control by scattering the toner in accordance with oscillation of a thin plate to develop images. CONSTITUTION:The toner is carried from the side of a bottom wall 4b toward an upper wall 4a by a projecting stripe piece 13 of a toner carrying mechanism 6 and is dropped and supplied onto a wide base end part 5b of the highest thin plate 5, and a part of the toner is slided down toward a barrow front end part 5a, and the rest of the toner is dropped to a wide base end part 5b of a lower thin plate 5 from holes 9. The toner is supplied to respective narrow front end parts 5a of individual thin plates 5 in this manner. Since an AC voltage is applied to each thin plate 5, the narrow front end part 5a is oscillated, and the toner is scatterd to a belt-shaped sensitive material 3 to develop an electrostatic latent image to a visible image. Thus, development is possible with only the toner of an ordinary two-component developer, and oscillation of thin plates 5 is increased or reduced by the control of the applied AC voltage to improve the development efficiency, thus obtaining an excellent development efficiency with simple control. |
