For use in saucepans 1, an electric mixer is provided with a holder 2 which can be adjusted to different saucepan sizes, e.g. a holder in the form of a spider whose radially adjustable legs 8 can be placed on the edge 10 of the saucepan or adhere to the inside wall of the saucepan.
