PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sinter material treatment method which improves the quality or productivity of a sintered ore by optimizing the amount of water added to a sinter material fed into a sintering machine. SOLUTION: The sinter material treatment method comprises kneading a sinter material by means of a mixer while adding water thereto. In this method, the ratio of the water added to the mixer is controlled to a constant value irrespective of the blending conditions of the sinter materials.
