PREVENTIVE MEANS AGAINST THE DRAWING OF ALIEN BODIES INTO AIRCRAFT GAS TURBINE ENGINES

An obstructive body 5 is connected feasibly withdrawable to an airframe and is located below the corresponding air-intake 2 min of an aircraft gas turbine engine 2. Generation of aerodynamic stagnation point 3 on the ground 1 can be intercepted by said obstructive body 5 so that pebbles or the like lying on the ground 1 are prevented from being whirled up and drawn into the engine 2. No decrease in engine efficiency and no substantial increase in airframe resistance are caused.
