A laboratory apparatus for mixed vapour extraction, by which substances which can be distilled off as an azeotrope by steam can be extractively separated off and isolated even from small amounts of water, composed of a boiling vessel (1) which can be heated by an external heat source, a steam space (2) connected thereto, a heat transfer surface (3) bordering thereon which permits heat transfer from the steam space to the low-boiling extraction medium situated in the extraction medium boiling space (4) and a condensation space (6), the apparatus being designed in such a manner that the condensing water can return through an overflow into the boiling vessel (1). <IMAGE>
