The invention is based on a double push-pull mixer having a diode ring composed of at least four diodes (M1-M4), to which two balancing elements constructed as microstrip branches are connected via which the diode ring is supplied with all three mixer signals - the oscillator signal (LO), the radio-frequency signal (RF) and the intermediate-frequency signal (IF). In this arrangement, two mixer signals (LO, RF) are conducted to the diode ring (M1...M4) via one microstrip branch and the two mixer signals (LO, RF) are coupled to this microstrip branch in such a manner that one mixer signal (LO) appears divided in opposite phase and the other mixer signal (RF) appears divided with the same phase at the two outputs (C, I) of the microstrip branch.
