A device for preventing the crossing-over of skis consists of a guide member (F) fixed on the top (SO) of the ski between the binding and ski tip, and if appropriate between the ski binding and ski end, which projects with inclined lateral flanks (F1, F2) from the top of the ski. In this arrangement, the guide member (F) is designed as a ski retaining clamp. To this end, it is in at least two parts, having a foot part (1) resting securely on the top (SO) of the supporting ski (Sk1) and a top part (2) mounted on the foot part (1). The top part (2) has a jaw-shaped lateral aperture (3) which is defined by an upper (k1) and a lower clamping leg (k2). The bearing points (L1, L2) between the top part (2) and foot part (1) are at least partially detachable from each other, in a manner such that the top part (2) can be transferred from its normal "paraplack" position (1) into a ski transportation position in which it clamps, within its jaw-shaped aperture (3) between the two clamping legs (k1, k2), both the supporting ski (Sk1) and the second ski of the pair of skis, running surface (SU) against running surface (SU). <IMAGE>
