PURPOSE:To flatten the entire surface of a molded article and to necessitate no masking during preparation, by taking a painting process for painting the entire surface of a molded article main body and a paint removing process for removing the paint applied to the upper surface of the mold release film on a decorating surface after the solidification of the paint. CONSTITUTION:In performing insert molding by setting a decorative body made of synthetic resin to an injection mold so as to contact the decorating surface 3 thereof with the lower surface of the upper mold of said injection mold, the decorative body 1 is fastened to the cavity 9 of a lower mold 8 by a double- coated sticky tape and insert molding is performed to obtain a molded article main body 10. A paint is applied to the entire surface of the molded article main body 10 and, after the paint film 11 is solidified, said paint film 11 on the decorating surface 3 of the decorative body 1 is removed by a sticky tape 12. In this case, because the paint film 11 is formed on the decorating surface 3 through a mold release material 6, said paint film 11 can be simply peeled off from the decorating surface 3 in a state adhered to the sticky tape 12. |
