PURPOSE:To improve the life cycle of reed screens, by reversing the reed screen moving along a belt conveyor each cycle, and applying the front side and rear of the laver sheet alternately to the reed screens. CONSTITUTION:Laver reed screen support frames 5 are provided on an endless circulating chain 3 revolving from the inlet part 2 to the recess part of a laver dryer 1, and a feed part (e) for each reed screen 12 with laver formed thereon and a taking out part (f) are provided at the inlet part 2. A laver peeling machine 13, laver sheet forming machine 21 and laver dehydrator 22 are provided at a conveyor line (l) extending from the taking out part (f) to the feeding part (e) in an automatic laver manufacturing machine. In the above-mentioned apparatus, the reed screen 12 is moved along the conveyor line (l) without reversing, and the direction of slender strips 12' of the reed screen 12 is in agreement with the horizontal transfer line of the above-mentioned line (l). The front side of the reed screen 12 is turned up in the laver sheet forming machine 21 to form the laver sheet 14, and the front side of the reed screen 12 after passing through the dryer 1 is turned down to peel the laver 14. Thus, the laver sheet 14 is formed alternately on the front side and rear. Therefore, the laver sheet 14 can be formed on the front side and rear alternately, and the life cycle of the reed screen 12 can be improved. |
